The Musculoskeletal Omics Lab is located in the Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Molecular Medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine. Led by Dr. Ellen Quillen, we apply integrated omic analyses, evolutionary approaches, and longitudinal analysis to understand complex diseases in humans and non-human primates. Our major research foci are aging-related traits including bone health and metabolic disorders as well as variation in tanning response across human populations.
